Jessica & Edward | A Beautiful December Wedding at Brighton Abbey

There is something special about an intimate wedding.

Jessica and Edward’s wedding at Brighton Abbey was a beautiful example of how a celebration doesn’t have to be large to be meaningful. Their December wedding was filled with warmth, laughter, family, and so many genuine moments that made their day unforgettable.

Although it was early December, the weather still had a beautiful touch of fall. The temperatures were comfortable—not too cold and not too warm—which made it a wonderful time for an outdoor wedding and portraits at Brighton Abbey.

An Intimate Wedding Surrounded by Family

Jessica and Edward chose to keep their wedding simple and intimate. There were no bridesmaids or groomsmen, allowing the day to focus even more on the two of them and the people they love.

What made the day especially meaningful was seeing how many guests came to celebrate with them.

Even though the wedding itself was intimate, they were surrounded by so many friends and family members who wanted to share this important moment in their lives. It was wonderful to see Jessica and Edward spend so much time with their families throughout the day, enjoying conversations, laughter, hugs, and all the little moments that are easy to overlook at a larger wedding.

For me, those moments are some of the most important parts of wedding photography.

A Beautiful December Wedding at Brighton Abbey

Brighton Abbey provided a beautiful setting for their wedding day. The elegant architecture and surrounding landscape paired perfectly with the soft December light and subtle fall colors that were still present in the season.

The atmosphere felt romantic and timeless without being overly formal.

Jessica and Edward were also incredibly natural together in front of the camera. Their happiness was easy to see, and that made photographing their portraits feel effortless.

We focused on capturing genuine interactions, natural expressions, and the quiet moments between them rather than creating overly posed photographs.

Timeless Wedding Photography

One of my favorite things about Jessica and Edward’s wedding was how naturally everything came together.

From their portraits to the family photographs and candid moments throughout the celebration, the images have a timeless quality that reflects how happy they were on their wedding day.

I love photographs that feel beautiful without feeling overly staged. Years from now, I want couples to be able to look at their wedding photographs and remember not only how they looked, but also how they felt.
